  • 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cups (480ml) cold milk

  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix

  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream

  • ยฝ cup (60g) powdered sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 24 bakery-style ladyfingers

  1. Prepare the pudding:
    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully set.

  2. Prepare the cream cheese mixture:
    In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  3. Combine pudding and cream cheese:
    Gradually add the prepared pudding to the cream cheese, beating until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.

  4. Whip the cream:
    In another bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

  5. Fold in whipped cream:
    Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate-cream cheese mixture until well incorporated.

  6. Assemble the Charlotte:

    • Individual servings: Line the bottom and sides of small serving dishes or glasses with ladyfingers. Fill with the chocolate mixture.

    • Large Charlotte: Line the bottom and sides of a charlotte mold or springform pan with ladyfingers. Fill with the chocolate mixture.

  7. Chill:
    Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to fully set.

Top with chocolate shavings or crushed cookies for extra flavor and texture before serving.
